Hi Scott,

I hate to see Linked Intelligence go as well, but I certainly understand. The points made in #3 are spot on. Linkedin's practices are in fact driving away the ones who have done the most to support and promote Linkedin. The site has so many bugs it is difficult to use anymore and all we get are excuses and empty promises of when it will be fixed.

See ya on the Virtual Handshake.

You've provided - and are providing - a unique resource here, Scott. I'm sure the b5media people are sorry to see you go. As another former b5media blogger I agree with you that they are a great bunch of people. I hope LinkedIn takes notice of your observations here.

Thanks, Sean. Just to clarify, I'm not stopping blogging, and I'm not stopping blogging about LinkedIn -- just going to be doing it as part of The Virtual Handshake Blog, rather than a separate venture, and won't be doing as much specifically about LinkedIn. My activities are too fragmented -- need to consolidate.

Scott,

Sad to see you go, especially since your blog was one that I checked often and always referred back to. Thanks for the posts back to my blog, it always created a mini-spike in visits. Also thanks for contributing to my addiction to bitstrips. It's mindless fun but a great way to break up the day. While my work production has taken a hit, my sanity has never been better.
