Fill in the names of all the organisations you have worked for and places you have received an education. Don’t worry about the specific details, just get the name right
You will then get regular updates of anyone else who has listed those organisations in their profile. I have found many of my old and current colleagues this way.

Questions:
1. Why don’t they make the company news optional? To me at HP, I consistently get totally irrelevant information. Even the ads are more interesting!
2. Why don’t they have an RSS feed of network updates?
Tip:

Blogging is a hobby for me, not a mainstay, but I’d like to learn more about how I might be able to leverage my connections on LinkedIn to bring more traffic to my site.
I’d also like to see the the LI staff be a bit more aggressive about encouraging people to flesh out their LinkedIn profiles. Often, I see people who’ve joined but never bothered to put any effort into this - many don’t even have a profile photo!
